Walkers' Coaches is a locally owned family business.

Established in 1987 by David & Christine Walker on the east coast of Tasmania (approximately one hour from the state’s capital, Hobart), the business began by servicing local school contracts at Orford with a fleet of two old vehicles.

Demand to cater for local communities transport needs (Private Clubs, Community & Church Groups) has seen Walker’s dramatic growth out of the east coast in order to service the entire state.

Walker ’s fine reputation stems from our drivers distinct reputation for their courtesy, personality, and an excellent safety record, together with the provision of reasonable rates, excellent service, and extremely comfortable vehicles.

Walker ’s now boasts a fleet of eight late model vehicles ranging in size from 13 to 49 seaters.
