David Walker :: Managing Director

David started Walkers Coaches in 1987 whilst working in the Timber Industry when he commenced by servicing the transport needs of local schools and communities at Orford and Triabunna (on Tasmania's east coast).

News traveled fast of David's great service and knowledge of country areas of Tasmania, and the friendliness he showed towards his passengers. David soon found that he was providing day trips for many senior and probus groups in southern Tasmania.

David has established a lasting friendship with groups who travel with him on a regular basis and today is kept busy exploring the many roads of Tasmania with them.
Christine Walker :: Director

When Walkers Coaches was established Christine had many and diverse roles; from taking bookings, to driving the coaches, and maintaining the visual appearance of the vehicles.

Christine can still be found today driving selected groups and assuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained onboard our coaches.
Warren & Suzanne Walker :: General Management

Warren and Suzanne joined the company in 2002 with the role of running the day to day operations of the company.

Their focus has been on developing the business into new markets (such as conference and touring) and expanding on the regular local groups already established by David and Christine.

Together with establishing the Walkers Coaches Travel Club and building relationships with other tourism operators in Tasmania they have also been working hard for the development of the Walkers Coaches brand.

Warren is also found regularly behind the wheel of a Walkers Coach.

He lives and works from the Central Midlands district of Oatlands where he can be regularly seen sleeping under the stars after fishing into the early hours of the morning.

Steve Randall :: Walkers Coach Driver

Steve Randell has been driving busses and coaches professionally for some twenty years. These include driving school and service busses in Wollongong, NSW, as well as coach excursions from Wollongong to Sydney.

He moved to Tasmania over seven years ago to retire but it was not long before he was driving service from St Helens to Launceston some weekends and some school runs to St Marys when needed.

Finding the east coast a bit boring he, with his wife Genene, moved to Hobart. Once again he found that he was driving for Redline doing school and service runs as well as day tours, which he most liked.

Then he moved to Walkers as it is a company, which he believes, is one more suited to his driving ability and is a family company of high standing in the community.

Steve and Genene are co-founders of the Errol Flynn Society of Tasmania of which Steve is the president. His interests include gardening and motor racing
